Guitar tuning. Heeeeeeeelp.?

Ohkay, so my dad bought me this fender acoustic guitar forever ago and
I want to finally start playing. I bought a snark SN-5 tuner today,
and I got the E cord tuned, but that's it . ._.

I'm stuck on the A cord, the tuner keeps reading it as a D, G, or E
cord. Do I tighten the cord or loosen it? Right now it says the cord
is a sharp E. What do I do? Dx
